The Fraternity
Our chapter was founded in 1906, and we just celebrated our 100 year anniversary at the University of Illinois. We are currently compiling records from the beginning of the chapter, as well as a 102 year history of the fraternity on the U of I campus. Our original chapter house was at 505 East Green Street in the heart of campustown when the chapter was founded on April 28th, 1906 (On the right; Courtesy UI Archives). Since then we have had a few places we called home. The next move was to 501 East Daniel Street, also a prime location on campus (as shown on the left). Our next home was at 907 South Third Street, where the fraternity resided for the entirety of the 1990's up until 2 Since then, we've called it home with the anticipation of a new, permanent chapter house in the next years. Many people over the last decade have contributed to the growing chapter, the outstanding quality of members, and the rich tradition that the chapter upholds.
