In preparation for Christmas this year, Acacia will be
taking part in our fraternity's national philanthropy
known as Acacia Claus. Acacians, dressed for the season,
stand outside a local store and ask for toys that are to
be donated to local children's charities. This is the
first year our chapter will take part, and we hope the
event will be as successful as it has been for other
chapters.

Acacia Claus
This is the very first time Acacia at Illinois has
participated in the philanthropy.
This year ACACIA collected almost 200 toys for children
that wouldn't otherwise be getting any this holiday
season. The drive was an unbelievable success,
especially for the first year. We look forward to next
year where we will try to match this success for such a
great cause.
