Phi Beta
Blood Drive
In
the spring, Acacia, together with Gamma Phi Beta sorority,
holds a blood drive for the Red Cross. The Red Cross reports
that every 2 seconds someone in the United States needs
blood, and only 5% of the eligible U.S. population donates
blood every year. In 2007, our chapters together collected
over thirty units of blood for the Illinois Blood Bank. In
2008, we collectively donated even more.
The
Acacia/Gamma Phi Beta Blood Drive will be hosted in March
2009. Details will be posted
here as soon as they become available.
