annual Mom's Day auction was upgraded this year with the auction being
held in a banquet hall instead of the fraternity house. The auction
proved to be worth the costs with a slightly lower net, but a $5,100
donation towards the Capital Campaign. During the auction, an anonymous
parent offered to match the combined $100 donations of any of the other
parents up to $2,500. Consequently, 26 parents raised their hands and
donated $100 each to the new house and the future of Acacia. The total
was $5,100 and made the excitement of the year that much greater.Congratulations to the New Exec Board! Matt Schild,
new Venerable Dean, heads up the 2008-2009 Undergraduate Executive
