Acacia Claus

In preparation for Christmas this year, Acacia will be taking part in our fraternity's  national philanthropy known as Acacia Claus. Acacians, dressed for the season, stand outside a local store and ask for toys that are to be donated to local children's charities. This is the first year our chapter will take part, and we hope the event will be as successful as it has been for other chapters.

Acacia Claus, an Acacia National Philanthropy, was first organized by the Illinois Chapter
in the holiday season of 2007. We collected over 200 toys for "Toys for Tots"
to help underprivileged children have a unforgettable holiday. In 2008 we raised the bar,
donating over 100 more toys.
