Welcome to ACACIA Fall Rush 2010!
Check back at the end of the summer
If you have trouble viewing the rush calendar, "agenda" is easier to read.
Where are we located?
We are at 211 E. Daniel, on the corner of Daniel and Third Street. We're right across from Bromley Hall. Come by the house anytime or during our rush events; they're listed on the calendar above. Click here to view a campus map.
We currently have over $1.5 million pledged (and growing) for a new, permanent chapter house. We expect to move in the next two years to a place we can call home.
Why join a fraternity?
The University of Illinois has the biggest greek community in the country of over 6,000. By joining a fraternity on the campus, you are exposed to social networking you will find no where else. In addition to meeting a substantial amount of friends and life-long connections, you'll get help with school, a chance to be a philanthropist, opportunities to become a leader, and through help from Acacia alumni be a significant addition to the workforce after graduation. These experiences are unmatched and are extremely valuable later in life.
Most of our members never planned on it, but it just happened. Your involvement in the fraternity depends on your interest level, although most devote themselves because of reasons that will become obvious in your years in the fraternity.
Why is Acacia different?
Acacia is focused around scholarship, philanthropy, and creating life-long ties with other members in the fraternity. Our pledge program is extremely focused on time management, as well as getting to know every single member of the house before initiation. Come to the house for a rush event and you'll see the diversity and companionship that binds our house together. Check out our booth during quad day and sign up to get more info on our rush events where you can meet our members and other prospective new members!
In the last few years, Acacia has become one of the largest houses in the biggest Greek system in the country. This isn't by luck, but by the quality of men in the fraternity. Acacia Fraternity is different. Become a part of a top house on campus and remember it for the rest of your life.
You may think joining a fraternity is not for you, or never thought about it before. The idea of meeting so many new people could seem to be a daunting task. Joining a fraternity at the University of Illinois is not only common, but many people who never thought about it before in their lives are finding themselves on the executive board by sophomore year! Take a challenge, step outside the box, and be apart of something great. Acacia Fraternity at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Successful Fall Rush
The Fall 2008 rush is over, and Acacia walks away with another superior pledge class. The future Acacians that the chapter has recruited will become leaders of the campus and community, and will continue the tradition of excellence that has been established at Illinois. Dave Blumenthol (Class of 2010) has been elected Head Pledge Educator and will lead these young men into Acacia Fraternity.
Quad Day 2009!

Quad day 2009 was an unbelievable success as we had over 200 potential new members come through and get information on our rush events. Opportunities to join the fraternity are still available by coming to these rush events listed on the calendar above. Don't wait to join a fraternity! Now is the time to do it!
